We are pleased to announce that next May 19th and 20th we will have the immense pleasure to participate in the VI Vallahackathon 😊celebrated between the Centro Cívico José María Luengo and the Centro de Enseñanza Gregorio Fernández de Valladolid.

Vallahackathon has become one of the programming events of reference in Castilla y León in recent years aimed at encouraging collaborative software development among vocational training students studying DAM (Development of Multiplatform Applications) and university students studying a degree in computer science in the Autonomous Community through various training sessions and the organization of a competition among students studying Dam.

This year's theme under the slogan "Nosotras también" will revolve around the visualization of women in the technology sector in order to promote a positive change in attracting female talent to STEAM careers.

Organized by the Centro de Formación Profesional Gregorio Fernández in collaboration with several educational centers of Castilla y León, this VI edition is expected to host no more and no less than a total of 250 attendees for the presentations spread over both days.

On this occasion, we will have the participation of our colleague and Business App Specialist Elisa Bárcena Martín, whose career in IT and the Power Platform universe has allowed her to achieve great success in the technological field and become one of the keynote speakers in this edition of Vallahackathon. We will be able to listen to her on May 19 at the José María Luengo Civic Center in Valladolid at 12:30 pm with "The future of programming with Power Platform".

The objectives of this Vallahackathon are aimed at:

• Disseminate the potential of vocational training and bring it closer to the business world.
• To improve the employability of students.
• To highlight the important role played by women in the technology sector.
• Generate synergies of collaboration in learning.
