Cataliza: Boosting young talent in the Canary Islands through professional internships at Intelequia

Cataliza is a non-work, paid internship program offered by public and private organizations within the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, directed by the General Foundation of the University of La Laguna. The program aims to support the development of skills and knowledge acquired by students who have completed a higher education or university degree.

At Intelequia, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with this initiative firsthand, hosting two highly talented young professionals who became part of our business operations and, today, are permanent members of our team after completing their scholarship-based internship.

To provide insight from the perspective of an employer choosing to bring young talent into their team through this scholarship program, our CEO, Carmen Martín López, gave an interview for the series “Cataliza from Within”, produced by the same organization responsible for the project.
