At Proexca they needed a tool that would ensure that users (companies/professionals) had access to up to date information of services tailored to their needs and therefore the tool should allow to easily and autonomously produce content, without programming knowledge; be scalable and allow the teams to work together easily. And, of course, it had to be ready for social network management.
The company's goal of changing the tool for managing their website content is adding value for the visitors/companies interested in the different services Proexca offers.
The solution offered was to rely on a highly scalable and powerful content management system, DNN. This CMS is the global leader of management systems based on Microsoft technology with more than 800,000 existing websites using this CMS. DNN is not only a CMS but it can also be extended to be used as an application development platform.
Some advantages of using a CMS were, among others, the independency from the provider, the separation of design and contents, as well as that new modules could be added and/or custom modules could be developed. This allowed them to provide a marketing tool for online communication with customers, having a portfolio of solutions and services as well as promoting the organization. It also gave them an image of an innovative company based on top notch technology.
Thanks to the possibility to work in teams and manage content. Some sites contained a huge amount of information and therefore the management of this information requires a team that is able to work together easily.
Our team works side by side with Proexca to evolve the platform by adding elements such as integration with mailchimp or new visualization elements to improve the contact with its associates.
It allows the site to grow continuously increasing and improving its functionality by introducing custom modules, adding dynamic content and the creation of new portals.
