The digital media Atlántico Hoy has once again awarded in its second edition to the Best Business Initiatives of the Canary Islands. It is a recognition of the excellence of those who make the productive economy of the Islands, one of the key elements in the business strategy inside and outside the archipelago.

The ceremony took place in the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín, with the participation of personalities and representatives of the public-private sector in the Canary Islands with the aim of honoring the main protagonists of the productive fabric of the islands in their business activity through awards in the following categories: Tourism Initiative, Transport Initiative, Sustainable Development Objectives Initiative, Audiovisual, Digital, mention to the Island of La Palma and mention to the Manager of the Year.

In this edition, the jury of Atlántico Hoy wanted to focus its award for Best Manager of the Year 2023 in the figure of Carmen M. Martín López, CEO of Intelequia, CEO of Hotelequia and Regional Director of IAMCP Canary Islands, recognizing the leadership of a reference project in the technology sector at national and international level, expert in the Microsoft cloud and also committed to attracting technology-based projects to the islands.

During her speech, Carmen M. Martin recalled the importance of betting on two fundamental axes such as talent and innovation to become an inherent part of companies in order to promote a positive impact on people.
