Cosmote, a leading telecommunications company, is constantly facing numerous challenges and social challenges to improve people's lives through innovative and cutting-edge technology.

One of its main challenges was to share the cultural and historical heritage of Greece, to ensure its future and promote its digital inclusion with users around the world.

Solution

Solution

Cosmote, recognizing the technological potential of Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Artificial Intelligence and the unique capabilities of the 5G network to contribute to the digital inclusion of Greek history and culture, decided to rely on Intelequia to develop an innovative AI-based virtual assistant, called Clio, for the "Cosmote Chronos" application. Clio, is capable of answering more than 14,000 questions to users in Greek and English. This project, in partnership with the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports and the technological contribution of Moptil, allows users to explore the Acropolis and its historical monuments through an app that combines AR, VR and AI.

  • The contribution of Intelequia's development and AI team has made possible the implementation of "Clio", an innovative virtual assistant capable of chatting in real time by text and voice with the user, allowing him to answer more than 14,000 questions about the Acropolis in Greek and English. As an added value, Clio is able to offer the possibility of a group tour of up to 5 people in a fully automated and dynamic way on these monuments, favoring the user's accessibility under an immersive experience.

  • With this project, it has been possible to showcase the potential of 5G technology, artificial intelligence and augmented reality to contribute to the cultural enrichment of local and international visitors to the Acropolis of Athens by fostering digital inclusion. By creating an engaging, educational and technologically advanced experience, the Acropolis Virtual Companion has the potential to redefine the way people explore historical sites and stimulate greater interest in applications that leverage AR, VR and AI in a variety of sectors.
